Iranian American Community Alliance Seattle

Civic Action is the third of the three C’s, through which the IACA serves the Iranian American Community and the greater Seattle area.

As an organization committed to social justice, the IACA cares about civic issues affecting Iranian Americans and their surrounding communities, such as civil rights, immigration, or racism. Propelled by a commitment to positive change, the IACA works to stay informed about relevant issues, to educate the community, and to take action when necessary.

As active citizens, the IACA has participated in civic life with the following examples:

• “Know Your Rights” trainings in Farsi for new immigrants
• "Media Coverage of US-Iran Relations" lecture and forum
• Sponsored “Civic Participation Workshop” by National Iranian American Council
