Iranian American Community Alliance Seattle

Cultural Education is the first of the three C’s, through which the IACA serves the Iranian American Community and the greater Seattle area.

Persian culture holds a rich history spanning thousands of years. This culture has brought forth so much to embrace and celebrate, from its language, literature, poetry, music, dance, and holidays, to its many other contributions to humanity.

As Iranian Americans living outside of Iran, it is all too easy to passively forget the rich history our ancestors have left us. Instead, we actively hold fast to our heritage and pass our traditions and history to the next generations.

As proud Iranian Americans, the IACA celebrates who we are by hosting Cultural Education events, for example:

• Iranian Festival at the Seattle Center
• Norooz concert at Seattle Town Hall
• SizdehBedar picnic at Lake Sammamish Park
• CharshanbehSuri at Alki Beach.
