Mahta is a returning Board Member. She has a great passion for community and helping others. As a rising leader, she was part of the University of Washington’s Persian Circle Student Association’s Leadership team, during her undergraduate studies while she was an active IACA volunteer since 2007. She joined the IACA Board in 2011 before she left for her Graduate Studies at the University of Arizona pursuing her degree in Masters of Architecture.
By being part of the IACA organization whether through volunteering or being part of the Board, Mahta has been able to learn much more about being a leader, decision making, and spontaneous trouble shooting for what may come her way. The goals and mission of the IACA as an organization meets Mahta’s personal passions and goals and how she would like to invest in the community. She aims for not only helping IACA advance and achieve the goals of the organization as a whole, but to also to encourage and help other organizations to come together, collaborate and become a united team.
